OUR SIGNATURE BEERS:

copperline amber ale
Copperline Amber Ale

This brilliant red ale, brewed with caramel and pale malts is a best seller at the Carolina Brewery. Using traditional brewing methods, the ale yeast provides a touch of fruit and works in tandem with the malt to make for a very drinkable ale. Kent Golding hops lend just enough bitterness and aroma to round out the flavor.

GOLD MEDAL-WORLD BEER CHAMPIONSHIPS

flagship india pale ale
Flagship India Pale Ale

Originally, this intensely hopped ale was brewed in the 18th century to survive the long sea journey from the cooler breweries in England, around the Cape of Africa  to India where the temperatures were too warm to brew. This beer has a unique floral aroma from the generous addition of Cascade hops to the fermenter in a procedure known as dry hopping.

GOLD Medal 2006 Great American Beer Festival, English-style IPA

sky blue golden ale
Sky Blue Golden Ale

For those desiring a lighter beer that still has hand-crafted integrity, this beer is a Kolsch style ale made famous in its namesake city of Cologne (Koln in German). This thirst-quenching brew is spritzy, not too malty, with the pleasing aroma of imported Hallertauer hops. While fermented warm like all ales, Kolsch beer undergoes a cold aging period like a lager which results in a brew that is complex yet easy to drink.

SILVER MEDAL-WORLD BEER CHAMPIONSHIPS

Oatmeal Porter
Oatmeal Porter

This hearty dark ale with pleasing hints of molasses and chocolate is robust and full bodied. Fresh rolled oats compliment the brew by creating a nice silky texture and a creamy, rocky head. This style originally was a blend of three different beers that was called “Entire Butt” – we’re not kidding! Porter became a style of its own during the early 1700’s when it was the favorite drink of the porters in the produce markets of London, England.

ON TAP THIS SEASON:*
oktoberfest
Oktoberfest

The German celebration of Oktoberfest began in Munich in 1810 to celebrate the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese. This two week long party has become the biggest beer drinking event in the world and is still going strong. Our Oktoberfest beer is an amber- colored lager made in the traditional style with a toasty malt flavor, medium body and a spicy hop finish.

Black IPA
Black IPA

Our Black IPA has a little something for everyone. It looks and pours like a classic porter with pitch black color, hints of rich dark chocolate and a beautiful tan head. Breathe in the aroma and you will recognize that this smooth drinking ale is hopped with loads of Falconers Flight hops. This blend of north west hops imparts subtle tropical and citrus notes. Finally, we add more hops to this beer in the fermenter to impart that true-to-style American IPA aroma.

Firecracker Pale Ale
Firecracker Pale Ale

A special brew to commemorate American Beer Month, first brewed in 2004.  “Firecracker Pale Ale” is a true American classic straw colored ale made with fresh North West Chinook hops. This is an easy drinking beer that still packs a punch.  Pick up your pint to toast our favorite month of the year!

Santa's Secret
Santa's Secret

Our winter ale, brewed especially for the holidays, boasts a combination of six different malts all working together to produce a rich beer with a soft creamy mouthfeel. Without revealing all of Santa's secrets, we can say that this tasty elixer contains a careful blend of coriander, cinnamon, orange and allspice. We think you'll agree - it's the closest thing to christmas in a glass.

* Since our seasonal beer menu changes often, please ask your server what is on tap when you arrive.
